Medical institutions involved in state health insurance will have to meet certain criteria

Medical institutions, which are involved in state health insurance program, will have to meet certain criteria starting 2018. Selective contracting conditions will apply to all clinics.

Lasha Nikoladze, advisor to health minister in insurance issues met with heads of different clinics. The conditions will become known starting January, 2018, and will be agreed with heads of the clinics.

Those clinics, which fail to meet the criteria, will be dropped out from the program. Their license will not be abolished and they will be able to continue activities, though.
