Medical council member: Better to make some political decision on Saakashvili
The medical council members, set up by the Public Defender, on Sunday, visited jailed ex-president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili at the Vivamed Clinic.
Giorgi Grigolia, an anesthesiologist-reanimatologist, said that “in this state when Mikheil Saakashvili feels like a prisoner and the stress that caused the sickness is not alleviated, the outcome will be the same in whatever clinic.”
According to Grigolia, “Saakashvili’s condition has worsened as a result of 10 months of treatment.” He emphasized once more that the problem would not be cured unless the environment that generated the post-traumatic stress disorder is modified.
“If we want to protect Mikheil Saakashvili’s health, it is better to make some political decision,” he stated.
