Mayor: Do we want European future? Then we have to keep constructing, not destroying
“We all bear responsibility for ongoing events; we must recognise what might societal conflict and division lead to,” Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze stated in a Sunday Facebook video address.
According to Kakha Kaladze, “the confrontation and the attempt to split the society can have the hardest consequences.”
“The confrontation must cease; the country faces the greatest problems; consider what is going on in the globe. I believe that we should work together to tackle these difficulties.
We must answer the basic question: ‘Do we want a European future? Then we have to keep constructing, not destroying’,” stated Kakha Kaladze.
The Mayor noted that New Year preparations have begun and the major Christmas tree has been up.
“The tagline for the next year is “City Full of Victories,” inspired by the numerous accomplishments this year,” according to the Mayor.
