Mamuka Bakhtadze: Everybody agrees that Europe cannot have security guarantees without security guarantees in the Black Sea region
Everybody agrees that Europe cannot have security guarantees without security guarantees in the Black Sea region and this is a very strong message, – Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze summed up the Munich Security Conference.
The head of the government noted that Georgia has received significant support from international partners in terms of the EU and NATO integration.
“Georgia has a very important role in the Black Sea, which means that our friends will help us even more to strengthen security systems in Georgia, to contribute to the security and safety of the Black Sea, and therefore, of the EU and NATO member states. We have heard from several experts that Russian aggression against Georgia and Ukraine is a risk only for Eastern Europe, which is not true. This is a challenge for the whole free world, NATO and EU member states. We have full support in the direction of our international aspirations. Georgia was presented at the Munich Security Conference at unprecedented levels this year and we can say that this was the most successful conference for Georgia, for our delegation”, – Prime Minister said.
