Maka Botchorishvili partakes in bureau sitting of EuroNest Parliamentary Assembly
The Head of the Parliamentary Delegation to EuroNest PA, Maka Botchorishvili participated in the sitting of the Bureau, attended by the EuroNest PA President, Andrius Kubilius, MEPs and the Heads of the Parliamentary Delegations of the EaP countries.
According to the parliament’s press office, the partners discussed the political processes in the EaP countries and the tendencies in the Eastern Partnership region.
Botchorishvili introduced the developments in Georgia after receiving the EU candidate status and the plans for the reforms related to the EU recommendations.
The attendees deliberated on the plenary session preparatory works scheduled to be held on March 19-20 in the European Parliament in Brussels. Upon enrolling Moldova, Georgia, and Ukraine in the EU enlargement policy, the debates within the EuroNest Assembly have been outlined concerning the prospects of updating the EaP policy.
