Majority Leader: Regrettable, GD criticized by someone appearing on Google as corrupt Congressmen
“It’s unfortunate that Turner appears as one of the most corrupt congressmen on Google search results,” said Mamuka Mdinaradze, the leader of the parliamentary majority, when speaking to the media about US Congressman Mike Turner, who recently visited Georgia.
Mdinaradze expressed regret that individuals like Turner critically evaluate the ruling Georgian Dream party while praising other countries as oases of democracy despite not having major democratic achievements.
“I wasn’t familiar with this congressman before. However, after he made some critical remarks about us, I decided to search for him on Google. What I found was a lot of very negative information, including claims that he is considered one of the most corrupt congressmen. Unfortunately, such individuals are so critical of the Georgian Dream that they praise other countries with lesser democratic achievements as oases of democracy. On the other hand, they criticize Georgia harshly.,” Mdinaradze stated.
