Majority Leader: PM's UN address prioritized national interests over external pressures
Mamuka Mdinaradze, the leader of the parliamentary majority, described the Prime Minister’s speech at the UN as balanced, concise, and rich in clear messages.
Mdinaradze noted that the Prime Minister underscored guarantees of peace, stability, and the well-being of the Georgian people, highlighting the government’s commitment to prioritizing national interests and enhancing the economic situation for its citizens.
“We are firmly committed to our national interests rather than adhering to external dictates. We are proud that Georgia has recorded the highest economic growth rate in Europe since 2021,” Mdinaradze stated, adding that poverty reduction serves as a solid foundation for ongoing economic advancement.
Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze delivered his address at the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.
