Speaker of the Parliament of Serbia Maja Gojković expressed support for Georgia’s territorial integrity after the meeting with the Georgian counterpart.
“Serbia supports Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. We are a country that supports international law and internationally recognized territorial integrity of the countries”, – Maja Gojković stated.
Maja Gojković thanked Georgia for Georgia’s position regarding Kosovo.
“We would like to thank Georgia for not recognizing Kosovo. We are grateful to Georgia for not supporting Kosovo’s membership in an international organization, such as UNESCO”, – she said.
The Speaker of the Parliament of Serbia met with the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze. A joint briefing was held after the meeting.
