According to Maia Miminoshvili, Head of National Assessment and Examination Center, out of 10 000 pupils, 98% have passed exams. The rate of failure among the pupils of the non-Georgian school who were passing the exams in Georgian language as the second subject is high, up to 6%.
Maia Miminoshvili talked about the technical problems in three public schools of Mtskheta, where schools do not have access to the internet and this is why the examination process has not started yet. According to Head of National Assessment and Examination Center, the problem will be eliminated as far as possible.
The exams for 12th grade students have started today.
The school students will pass the tests in four subjects (Georgian language and literature, foreign languages, history and mathematics).
According to the National Exam Center, more than 49 thousand applicants have been registered for the exams.
This year, the 11th and 12th grade students will pass the exams with a new format. After completion of testing, students will not see the score on the monitor but notification on whether they have overcome the minimum competence threshold.
