A magistrate judge at the Tbilisi City Court interrogated Badri Japaridze, one of the leaders of the “Strong Georgia.”
Badri Japaridze spent two hours answering questions from the prosecutor’s office as part of an ongoing inquiry into the October parliamentary elections.
Following the interview, Japaridze said he had provided the investigators with information on a number of electoral fraud incidents.
He claims that the prosecutor’s office is investigating these facts, but he is “sceptical.”
According to prosecutor Ketevan Chachava, Japaridze discussed a number of things but could not provide a particular source. She stated that all of the facts mentioned by Japaridze would be verified.
