Georgian luger Giorgi Soghoyan performed the first sliding at 2018 Winter Olympics held at the Alpensia Sliding Centre near Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Forty sportsmen participated in the competition. Soghoyan ranked thee 30th place by covering the distance in 49.3 seconds. The first best result was shown by Austrian sportsman.
