Lithuanian Prime Minister visits Georgia

Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili has hosted his Lithuanian counterpart Saulius Skvernelis at the face-to-face meeting.

According to the Governmental Administration, the sides discussed further deepening of bilateral cooperation, expanding economic ties and the ongoing reforms on the path of European and Euro-Atlantic integration.

The head of the Government of Georgia underlined the visit of the Prime Minister of Lithuania.

“Dear Prime Minister, I am glad that you are in Tbilisi. This visit is symbolic for both parties, as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the announcement of the republic. We are happy to have a very high-level political and economic relations and very positive dynamics. Lithuania is one of the strongest supporters of Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations, for which we thank you,”- said the Prime Minister.

Lithuania’s Prime Minister thanked Giorgi Kvirikashvili for hosting him.

“Mr. Prime Minister, I’m glad that I’m here. Georgia is a very important strategic partner for us,” said Saulius Skvernelis.
