Lithuanian President calls for decisive action: My friends from Georgia did lot to implement reforms due
My friends from Georgia did a lot in order to implement reforms due, right now we have a political situation where we can make the decisions, stated the President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda ahead of the European Council meeting in Brussels.
“My friends from Georgia did a lot in order to implement reforms due, Yes, there are always some issues which could be discussed in the future, but right now we have a political situation where we can make the decisions. And decisions not only regarding Ukraine, Moldova, but Georgia, Bosnia and Hercegovina.
For me, it is a very simple question and answer. My country benefited a lot from its membership in the European Union. Economic skyrocketing, innovations, green investments, and so on. GDP per capita grew from 42% in 2003 to 90% right now, the European Union average. So my question is why the people outside of the European Union should not deserve the same, to deserve normal life, to deserve prosperity, rule of law, et cetera,” the Lithuania President declared.
