Lithuanian Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs says Transparency law against European principles, values

Georgia’s law On Transparency of Foreign Influence is against European principles and values, said Simonas Šatunas, Lithuanian Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs.

Simonas Šatunas believes that the European Council should discuss developments in Georgia.

“The Georgian government cannot fool its people. The foreign agents’ law is against European principles and values. Therefore, we believe that the European Council has to discuss the developments in Georgia and the consequences of Georgia on its European path,” he said.
