Georgian Rugby fans are gathered at First Republic Square in Tbilisi to watch the match Georgia vs. Italy in live transmission through a big screen installed at the territory. The Georgian national anthem was performed to cheer up Georgian rugby players before the match was kicked off.
The national anthem was performed by Ensembles “Shvidkatsa” and “Herios” together with people and was heard live at Artemio Franchi football stadium where the match Georgia vs. Italy is being held.
Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze and independent presidential candidate supported by the ruling Georgian Dream Party are present at First Republic Square.
The match between the Georgian National Rugby Team “Borjghalosnebi” and the Italian team began at 18:00 Tbilisi time.
The stadium has the capacity to accommodate 43 147 sports fans. Several thousand Georgians, who arrived from different countries, will support and cheer up “Borjghalosnebi.”
The Georgian rugby team has played against Italy three times. All matches resulted in favor of Italy.
