Lelo's Japaridze: Zourabichvili remains legitimate President until new parliamentary elections

Badri Japaridze, one of the leaders of the political party Lelo, has reaffirmed that Salome Zourabichvili is the legitimate president of Georgia. According to Japaridze, Zourabichvili will retain her position as the legitimate president until new parliamentary elections are held.

Badri Japaridze stated, “The position is clear: a parliament elected through illegitimate elections is an illegitimate parliament, and a president elected by such a parliament is an illegitimate president. Therefore, the legitimate president is Salome Zourabichvili, and she will remain the legitimate president until new parliamentary elections.”
