Legendary Georgian TV presenter buried

A legendary TV presenter Lia Mikadze, with whom the Georgian TV Broadcasting history began, was buried on Saturday. Her colleagues and public figures paid tribute to her memory.
Civil Funeral was held at the Sioni Cathedral. She was buried at Saburtalo Cemetery.
Lia Mikadze worked at television for 50 years. Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) opened a star to the popular TV presenter at Mtatsminda TV Tower 9 years ago.
Lia Mikadze died at the age of 86 on November 10.
