Lasha Shavdatuashvili emerged as the winner at the Judo Grand Slam in Tbilisi.

The Olympic, world, and European champion swiftly defeated Karen Galstian competing under a neutral flag in just 32 seconds in the final, securing the second gold medal for the Georgian national team in the tournament.

Eter Lipartelian (57 kg) clinched the gold medal at the Tbilisi Grand Slam the previous day. Lipartelian triumphed over Canadian Jessica Klimkait in the final, marking her first-ever gold medal at a Grand Slam tournament.

Overall, at the 2023 Tbilisi Grand Slam, the Georgian national team accumulated an impressive tally of three gold, two silver, and one bronze medals.
