Kutaisi International Airport traffic showed 68% increase in November
The traffic at Kutaisi International Airport in November 2023 went up by 68% year-on-year, the Airports Union of Georgia reported.
The number of flights the Kutaisi Airport served in November also increased by 5% compared to 2022.
“The number of flights implemented in 11 months is also historic. Kutaisi International Airport served 4,504 flights in January-November, which is 55% higher than in 2022. (January-November 2022, 737,478 flights),” the Airports Union said.
Kutaisi Airport is set to receive its fourth Wizz Air based aircraft on December 16. It will operate the flight to Copenhagen. Pegasus Airlines will operate the Istanbul-Kutaisi-Istanbul flight from December 19.
Five air companies operate from Kutaisi International Airport. Flights are implemented to 35 destinations in 18 countries.
