Kutaisi Airport sees passenger traffic recovery, Deputy Economy Minister says
In June 2022, Kutaisi International Airport served 76,052 passengers and 298 flights, showing a full recovery of passenger traffic, while the number of flights was swelled by 21 per cent, said Deputy Economy Minister Mariam Kvrivishvili.
The deputy minister believes recovery arises from the “right policy in the target markets, aimed at expanding the flight geography, finding new tourist markets, introducing new airlines to the Georgian air market and increasing existing destinations.”
Five airlines operate at Kutaisi International Airport to 25 destinations in 14 countries.
Effective August 1, Kutaisi Airport will add flights to Tallinn and Paris
