Kutaisi Davit Aghmashenebeli International Airport is operating in emergency mode, Irakli Karkashadze, the Director of the Georgian Airports Union, reported.
According to him, the airport quickly addressed the damage caused by the recent natural disaster through the efforts of the airport team and the Georgian Airports Union.
Airport operations were temporarily suspended due to heavy rainfall and precipitation. Experts are currently on site, actively assessing the situation.
Flights operate normally at the airport.
