Kingdom of Bahrain facilitates visa regime for Georgian citizens

At the decision of the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain, starting October 4, visa-regime has been facilitated for Georgian citizens.

This envisages an entry to the country through electronic visa or obtaining the visa at the border for Georgian citizens – Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

The decision was preceded by the meeting of Foreign Ministers of Georgia and Bahrain within the framework of the 73rd Session of UN General Assembly in New York.

Negotiations are in an active phase regarding an agreement for the introduction of a visa-free regime for Georgian citizens having diplomatic or business passports.
