Khidasheli, Janelidze accept debate invitation from Kobakhidze, Papuashvili

Former Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil (Papuna) Janelidze and former Defense Minister Tinatin Khidasheli will participate in a public discussion with Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili on the GPB First Channel, on December 4, at 10 p.m.

Tinatin Khidasheli confirmed her participation during a phone conversation with the GPB, while Mikheil Janelidze announced his agreement in a Facebook post, stating, “It is acceptable for me to hold the aforementioned discussion on the GPB First Channel.”

The discussion follows Khidasheli’s and Janelidze’s expressed interest in addressing the Georgian Dream party’s November 28 statement. Kobakhidze and Papuashvili proposed dedicating airtime for the debate, and the GPB First Channel has confirmed its readiness to host the event.
