Kamikposten: Denmark to allocate financial aid to Georgia and Ukraine

Denmark will allocate 860 million Krones (approximately USD 142 million) to Georgia and Ukraine during the next 5 years, Kamikposten publication informs.

Reportedly, Anders Samuelsen, Foreign Minister of Denmark will visit Georgia and Ukraine on February 20-23.

The visit of Danish diplomat to the two countries, which experience pressure from Russia, aims at support of reforms being carried out in Georgia and Ukraine.

“My visit to Georgia and Ukraine means that Denmark unconditionally supports these two countries where the struggle between western and eastern values and interests is ongoing,” Samuelsen said and added that reforms were the adequate response to Russian aggression and that the reforms were bringing the countries close to Europe.
