The events in connection with the President’s inauguration will take place in Tbilisi, Telavi and Tsinandali, – Kakha Kakhishvili, head of the Government’s Administration said.

According to Kakhishvili, Organizational Commission for Inauguration is discussion the event’s script. As he noted, Commission expects the information about the foreign guests from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

” Organizational Commission discusses event’s script and guest list. The event will take place in three locations: Tbilisi, Telavi and Tsinandali. Wreath Laying Ceremony at the grave of Ilia Chavchavadze and the Hero’s Square Memorial will take place in Tbilisi. The ceremony of Oathtaking will be held in Telavi, Tsinandali is considered as a venue for the solemn reception”,  – he stated.

According to Kakhishvili one-day event will start at 15:00 and end at about 19:00.

According to him, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia is working to ensure the attendance of the maximum number of guests from the partner countries.

“As for the budget, at this stage, we can’t say anything about this. Our desire is to spend less sum on inauguration ceremony ”, – Kakhi Kakhishvili added.

The inauguration of the President of Georgia will be held on December 16 in Telavi.
