Kakha Kaladze - Time, when National Movement was sitting on everyone's head, is over

“The time, when you [National Movement] were sitting on everyone’s head, is over. I’m not going to forgive you for your lies”, – Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze has addressed to opponents during the City Council session, where the budget of the capital is considered.

Mayor responded to the question of Levan Khabeishvili, a member of “National Movement”, – why the funds for nutrition for per child in the kindergartens increased to 3.13 GEL in two and half years, while the amount allocated for the beneficiaries in the free canteens remains unchanged – 1.18 GEL.

“You are trying to mislead the population; the funding for socially vulnerable people has been increased by half a million. If you ask me if is it enough, of course not, but we are taking decision from what we have”, – said Kakha Kaladze.

First Channel correspondent reports that Levan Khabeishvili in protest put the banner “Social – 1.13, Official – 8064 deputies” on display at the session hall.
