Kakha Kaladze: Six years ago Georgian people made a historic choice against the criminal regime which was based on abuse of human dignity

Six years ago, on October 1, 2012, Georgian people made a historic choice in favor of freedom and refused from a criminal regime which was based on abuse of human dignity, – the General Secretary of “Georgian Dream” Kakha Kaladze said after the meeting of the ruling party in the central office of the party.

As Kakha Kaladze noted, before 2012, the Eastern-style dictatorship was establishing step-by-step in Georgia.

“As it is commonly known, the most serious crimes of this regime were: violence; corruption; total restriction of freedom of media; handing over our two historic regions to Russia”, – said Kakha Kaladze.

As Kaladze noted, as a result of the Georgian Dream’s six-year governance, the state system oriented on respect for human and respect for its dignity was established. According to him, the quality of security and stability of the country has improved, and strategic cooperation with the EU, NATO, and the United States has been deepened.
