Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze made a comment on naming the presidential candidate of Georgian Dream Party. According to him the decision will be made in the nearest future.
“Consultations have been conducting for long, several candidates are considered. The presidential candidate of “Georgian Dream” will be nominated in accordance with the law in the nearest future, ” – Kakha Kaladze said.
Asked whether Salome Zurabishvili’s candidacy is being considered, Kakha Kaladze responds that Zurabishvili is not the member of “Georgian Dream”.
“Many interesting and worthy candidates are considered who can gain victory in very first round. Accordingly, in the nearest days, the political council will discuss this issue and make a final decisions, ” – Tbilisi Mayor said.
