Justice Ministry unveils innovative Smart Contract service for citizens

The Public Registry of the Georgian Ministry of Justice has launched a ground-breaking Smart Contract system.

This innovative system facilitates simultaneous property registration and payment processing in a digital format, allowing both parties to engage remotely via electronic devices.

The Smart Contract system is particularly beneficial for migrants seeking to purchase property in Georgia, as it enables citizens to book online appointments with representatives from the Public Registry.

Justice Minister Rati Bregadze presented this concept to executive authorities, the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) representatives, and financial institutions, with Chairman Davit Devidze showcasing the new service.

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili, Members of Parliament, the Public Defender, the President of the Business Association, as well as interested stakeholders, including commercial banks, developers, and World Bank representatives, attended the presentation.
