Justice Minister remarks on dispute against Transparency Law

“The state, part of whose territory is still occupied, should have a legitimate opportunity to openly obtain information about foreign interests and make it public to the population,” said Georgian Justice Minister, Rati Bregadze, on Friday.

The Minister echoed the ongoing dispute against the Law on Transparency of Foreign Influence in the Constitutional Court, calling it the dispute against “transparency vs opacity,” “objective awareness vs misinformation,” and “clarity vs obscurity.”
