Justice Minister: Information about number of hunger striking inmates false

Rati Bregadze, Georgia’s Minister of Justice, posted on his Facebook page that the information being shared regarding the number of inmates on hunger strike is “false.”

The Minister believes that “directly or indirectly inciting inmates to go on hunger strike does significant harm.”

“The opposition and the media, which pretends to be humane, should not need to be reminded that human health and life are solely played and exploited by villains devoid of honor.

The opponent’s provocative, dirty, and often inhumane methods are not new to us,” Bregadze added.
