Justice Minister believes opposition's presence added no value to previous convocation parliament

“The opposition’s presence added no value to the work of the previous convocation parliament. They did not participate in the legislative work and disrespected their voters,” said Georgian Minister of Justice, Rati Bregadze.

According to Rati Bregadze, the opposition boycotted parliament sittings.

“I did not hear any business questions from them, and when they asked a question, they left the hall. I witnessed this situation many times during the minister’s hour. They used the parliament floor for their party-mercantile interests instead of the interests of their voters, who supported them. Opposition representatives, in most cases, do not respect their voters,” he said.
