Justice Minister: All metals in Saakashvili's blood within normal

Georgian Justice Minister Rati Bregadze says that all the metals in Saakashvili’s blood tested within normal range, making it impossible to discuss any form of poisoning in this case.

Bregadze claimed that Saakashvili’s alleged heavy metal poisoning issue was a million-dollar campaign that failed.

“International experts who eventually testified in his trial also tested him. When the samples they took were sent to one of the American laboratories, the outcome showed that all the metals in his blood were within the normal range. It clearly shows that the million-dollar campaign against the state failed,” said Bregadze on Rustavi 2 program.

He added that more than a million dollars have been spent in attempts to free Saakashvili illegally.
