Journalists from Moldova visited Georgian First Channel. The purpose of the visit was the improvement of journalistic skills and exchange of experience in covering gender issues.
The journalists became introduced with the principles of First Channel’s work. They talked about gender equality, which is a priority of Public Broadcaster and integration of sensitive topics in programs.
Tinatin Berdzenishvili, First Deputy General Director of Georgian First Channel said that discussions were held about the portrayal of painful issues in the industry of TV series. “We also became introduced with the problems facing journalists in Moldova. We have much in common,” Bedzenishvili claimed.
Moldovan journalists arrived in Georgia at the organization of the non-governmental organization “Women’s Information Center.”
