Japanese government hands over hybrid and electric cars to MIA

The Japanese government handed over 45 hybrid and 51 electric cars to Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

According to MIA, the hybrid cars will be used by Patrol Police, while electric cars were distributed to different departments.

The Japanese government offered non-project grant assistance to the Georgian government in 2015 that envisaged buying of new generation and ecologically safe vehicles based on the agreement signed with Mitsubishi Corporation.
