Jan Pieter De Nul: Anaklia Project is unique; Georgia to transform within 10 years
“The Anaklia project is truly unique; in ten years, nobody will recognize Georgia. Local businesses will thrive, and employment will increase,” said Jan Pieter De Nul, Managing Director of Jan De Nul Group.
He noted that his company operates in 117 countries, with Georgia being the 118th. De Nul praised the country for its tourism promotion and impressive economic growth indicators.
“We are pleased to collaborate with Georgia to further enhance and develop these indicators,” he stated.
Jan Pieter De Nul expressed his appreciation for Georgia’s history, mentioning the country’s pivotal role in the Silk Road during the Middle Ages.
“When I consider the fundamental issues, the approach, and the spirit of how you care for the economy, I am convinced that another golden age awaits Georgia, and I truly believe in it,” he added.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced the launch of construction for the Anaklia Deep Sea Port, with Jan De Nul involved in the preliminary works.
