Iranian FM visits Georgia

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in Tbilisi on Thursday as a part of his regional trip.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia, Alexander Khvtisiashvili welcomed the guest at the Tbilisi International Airport.

The Iranian FM will hold meetings with the President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili, Parliament Speaker Archil Talakvadze, and Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia, Georgian Foreign Ministry reports. The meetings will focus on regional security and bilateral cooperation.

Mohammad Javad Zarif will honor the memory of the soldiers who died for the unity of Georgia and lay a wreath at the Memorial of the Heroes.
