Irakli Mekvabishvili – We do not exclude ‘black holes’ in politics regarding financing

Processes in politics with respect to financing are transparent. However, theoretically, we do not exclude existence of so-called ‘black holes’ – Irakli Mekvabishvili, General Auditor claimed during the opening of a regional conference “Money in Politics.”

Mekvabishvili said that work on perfection of the legislation was ongoing together with non-governmental sector. He also claimed that Association could be established among structures carrying out monitoring.

About 100 representatives of financial monitoring structures from 10 countries and international experts are attending the regional conference.
