Irakli Kobakhidze and Giorgi Kvirikashvili to present strategic national vision on local self-governance and decentralization
The Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze and the Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili will present a strategic national vision of local self-governance and decentralization today.
Presentation of a new concept will be held in the Parliament of Georgia and it will be attended by representatives of the Georgian government, parliament, civil society, diplomatic corps and international organisations.
Tbilisi Mayor, President of the National Association of Local Authorities Kakha Kaladze; The head of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Georgia Niels Scott; Ambassador of Austria to Georgia Arad Benko and Lukas Beglinger, Swiss Ambassador to Georgia will deliver speeches.
The event is organised by the Parliament and the Government of Georgia with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Swiss and Austrian governments.
