Irakli Chkheidze quits Gakharia for Georgia party

Irakli Chkheidze has officially left the political party Gakharia for Georgia. He confirmed that in a post on social media.

“Before the 2021 local self-government elections, I joined the political party Gakharia for Georgia, and I remained a member until now. To this day, party members are being convinced and misled into believing that the leaders of this party are ‘acting in concert,’ which I have ultimately come to regard as an outright deception. Therefore, I quit the party effective immediately. The party leadership may consider this statement as my official resignation,” Chkheidze wrote.
