“By holding Wine Days, we remind the society that Georgian wine is part of our culture and history,” said Otar Shamugia, Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture, addressing the International Scientific Conference, which opened within the framework of Wine Days.
Twenty-two scientists, researchers and experts from 11 countries (Georgia, Italy, France, Spain, England, USA, Canada, Israel, Brazil, South Africa, and Croatia) are attending the international scientific conference.
The conference aims to popularize Georgian viticulture, wine-production methods, and grapes cultivation and to familiarize the guests with the carried-out and future activities.
The National Wine Agency of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture organized the event with the support of the Georgian government.
