At the initiative of PM World War ll Veterans' pension to be doubled

The pension of World War ll Veterans will be doubled, – Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili made the regarding announcement at the session of the government today.
As Kvirikashvili noted veterans of World War II deserve special respect.
“Yesterday we marked May 9 – Victory Day over Fascism and we met the World War ll Veterans. It was a very exciting and emotional meeting. They are heroes and deserve special respect. Today, before the government meeting I had discussions with several members of the cabinet. I want the pension of World War ll Veterans to be doubled in order to express our gratitude to them in this way. Once again, I would like to congratulate veterans on the day” – Prime minister said.
