Individual arrested in TBC Bank break-in case admits guilt

Guga Gotsiridze, arrested in connection with an attempted heist of the TBC Bank, has been charged with robbery. However, an expert’s report revealed that the weapon used during the incident was a plaything, leading to no charges related to buying, keeping, and carrying a gun.

According to the lawyer, Gotsiridze admits to breaking into TBC Bank and demanding money. He left the bank 15 seconds after the alarm was triggered.

Gotsiridze’s lawyer mentioned severe psychological stress and family problems as potential reasons for his actions. He said that before the bank incident, Gotsiridze attempted suicide due to these issues.

The lawyer said that police arrested him at his home on Bakhtrioni Street a few hours after the incident.
