In today's 'Russia-Georgia war,' country needs Saakashvili alive, Law and Justice leader says
The opposition Law and Justice leader Tako Charkviani said Georgian ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili should halt a hunger strike as this is “the Russia-Georgia war” and the country needs him “alive.”
“It is a very difficult process. He did the greatest thing with this political act. His arrival was a brilliant, large-scale political act. I still think that now his health, life is crucial for the fight that is just beginning,” Charkviani stated at the 12th Rustavi Prison before she met with Saakashvili.
