Today is the International Day of Fight against Cancer and by the will of the Lord the humanity can defeat this terrible disease, – Catholicos Patriarch of All Georgia His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II stated during the Sunday sermon at the Sioni Cathedral.

As Ilia II noted, the joy and grief are like twin brothers, they walk together, frequently joy comes after the grief.

“Today is the International Day of Fight against Cancer and by the will of the Lord the humanity can defeat this terrible disease. We ask the Lord to cure our children from this terrible sickness”  – Ilia II said.
