Ilia II addressed emigrants: I love you as much as I love Georgia

Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II addressed the founders and guests of the Demographic Forum at the meeting held in the Patriarchate of Georgia.

Ilia II addressed Georgian emigrants living abroad, including living in Sweden and Spain, who were participating in the meeting vie video call. Patriarch urged them to return to Georgia.

“There was one case, the Georgian man being in abroad told me ‘I love you as much as I love Georgia’. I want to repeat these words, I love you as much as I love Georgia. We are waiting for you in your homeland, you are a great treasure for us, a spiritual treasure, a national treasure” – Ilia II said.
