IAEA: No increase in off-site radiation levels detected after attacks on Iranian nuclear sites
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has reported no increase in radiation levels outside Iranian nuclear facilities following recent strikes.
“Following attacks on three nuclear sites in Iran – including Fordow – the IAEA can confirm that no increase in off-site radiation levels has been reported as of this time. IAEA will provide further assessments on situation in Iran as more information becomes available,” the IAEA stated on social media platform X.
Earlier today, the United States launched coordinated strikes on Iran’s key nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. The attacks involved GBU-57 bunker-buster bombs dropped from B-2 bombers and Tomahawk cruise missiles fired from submarines.
