Hungarian PM receives official state welcome at Georgian Government Administration
Viktor Orbán, Hungary’s Prime Minister – the current holder of the EU Council Presidency – was welcomed with an official ceremony at the Georgian Government Administration building.
The ceremony featured the performance of both Hungarian and Georgian national anthems.
Following the official welcome ceremony, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Prime Minister Viktor Orbán are scheduled to hold a one-on-one meeting, followed by expanded format discussions. The leaders will then make joint statements to the media.
The Hungarian Prime Minister, representing the current EU Council Presidency, arrived with a high-level governmental delegation including Peter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade; Márton Nagy, Minister of Economic Development; Mihály Varga, Minister of Finance; and János Máté, State Secretary.
Prime Minister Kobakhidze hosted Prime Minister Orbán for an official dinner.
