Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Azerbaijani Embassy commemorate Khojaly Tragedy

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Embassy of Azerbaijan held a joint event on the 29th anniversary of the Khojaly Massacre.

Dozens of people attended the event and paid tribute to the memory of the martyrs.

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Faig Guliyev and the Heydar Aliyev Foundation representatives met with family members who suffered from the 1992 massacre in Marneuli.

The battle between Armenia and Azerbaijan for control of the Upper Karabakh region resulted in the 1992 Khojaly tragedy that claimed the lives of 613 Azerbaijanis.
