Heavy rain is expected in some areas of western Georgia from October 9 during the day until the night hours of October 10, the National Environment Agency reported.
There will be a strong wind across the entire territory of Georgia, with occasional very strong wind gusts. Additionally, a 4-5-point storm is expected at times on the sea.
The National Environment Agency warns that the heavy precipitation in the rivers of Western Georgia may lead to a significant increase in water levels and could trigger landslide-flood processes in mountainous and hilly areas.
